With a defeat at Leeds and games running out, Wednesday's playoffs hopes drifted with the bookmakers.
Hull saw their top six hopes take a hit with defeat to playoff-off rivals Middlesbrough at the weekend, where they are now five points off 6th place.
While making the playoffs is still unlikely, the bookmakers are offering odds of 250/1 with the potential of finishing the season on 71 points - if they win their final five fixtures.
