MIDDLESBROUGH manager Tony Mowbray wants to keep Marvin Emnes next season and hopes to secure the winger on a new contract.
Emnes enjoyed a loan spell at Swansea City during the first half of the campaign before establishing himself in Mowbray’s plans after his return to The Riverside.
Swansea have hinted at making a summer bid for the Dutchman, but Mowbray wants Emnes to stay at Boro for the long term.
“I would like to extend Marvin’s contract and keep him here longer term,” Mowbray said.
