The Republic of Ireland international hasn’t played for Boro since the 2-2 draw with Hull at the end of November due to an ongoing thigh injury.

Randolph, who signed for the Teessiders in 2017, has been repeatedly linked with a return to the London Stadium in recent weeks.

And according to Sky Sports, the Hammers have seen an undisclosed bid rejected for their former goalkeeper.

Darren Randolph has missed Middlesbrough's last nine games with a thigh injury.

Following the appointment of David Moyes, West Ham are still looking for a new keeper to act as back-up for No 1 option Lukasz Fabianski.

It’s also been claimed the Hammers have been offered Bournemouth stopper Asmir Begovic, who is out on loan at Azerbaijani club Qarabag.

The Bosnian, 32, could extend that deal until the end of the season but it’s believed he wants to return to England.

Boro boss Jonathan Woodgate has previously said Boro don’t need to sell their prized assets this month.

Tavernier linked with Premier League clubs

Another player Boro will be keen to keep hold of is attacking midfielder Marcus Tavernier.

The 20-year-old has been a regular starter for the Teessiders this season and started 17 consecutive games in the Championship.

And, according to the Daily Mail, a clutch of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham, have been impressed by the youngster.

Tavernier has played in central midfield and out wide for Jonathan Woodgate’s side this campaign.
