Realistically, Middlesbrough just need a solitary point from their final two games to ensure their Championship safety. Tomorrow Neil Warnock’s side welcome play-off hopefuls Cardiff City to the Riverside in what could be a tense encounter with plenty on the line.
Warnock’s presence has been a positive one at the club since taking over from Jonathan Woodgate but it is still to be decided what the future holds for the managerial position at Boro.
