Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in Joe Bryan

Middlesbrough are one of a host of clubs interested in Bristol City defender Joe Bryan, according to reports.

The Bristol Post have suggested that Middlesbrough, along with Championship rivals Leeds, are keen on a move for the left-back.

But they will face competition from several Premier League sides as Burnley, Bournemouth and Fulham also hold an interest in Bryan.

RUMOURS: Leeds eye international striker while Boro man is drawing Premier League interest

Previous reports have suggested that Bristol City value the defender at around the £10m mark - although that asking price may have changed.

The Robins will likely be keen to recoup a good fee for Bryan after he progressed through their youth ranks.

Having burst onto the scene in 2013 - following loan spells at Plymouth and Bath City - the full-back has gone on to become a leading performer in the Championship.

UPDATE: Middlesbrough see hopes of two deals fade

He made 48 appearances for City last season, netting seven times, and was the subject of plenty of transfer speculation throughout the campaign.

And that speculation has only ramped up during the close season, with a number of clubs keen to seal a deal - including Boro.
