Middlesbrough transfer news: Neil Warnock's message to Burnley after Dael Fry report
Neil Warnock is confident defender Dael Fry will stay at Middlesbrough next season – despite reports linking the centre-back with Burnley.
According to the Daily Mail, the Clarets are planning to make a £10-million move for the 23-year-old who they tried to sign two seasons ago.
Fry has been excellent for Boro this campaign, making 32 Championship appearances, while Warnock has claimed he’s the best centre-back in the division.
The Mail’s report says Burnley expect further interest in James Tarkowski and are ready to sell former Boro defender Ben Gibson to Norwich following a loan spell at Carrow Road.
