Middlesbrough have made four new signings this summer – with manager Neil Warnock still hopeful he can make more additions before the start of the season.
The Teessiders have brought in goalkeeper Joe Lumley, experienced defender Lee Peltier, winger Sammy Ameobi and striker Uche Ikpeazu as they look to challenge for promotion from the Championship.
Warnock has said he still wants to make four or five more signings before the end of the transfer window – with the priority to add more competition up front.
It will be interesting to see what formations Warnock deploys in pre-season after using a back four and a back three last campaign.
As players continue to be linked with a move to the Riverside, there is bound to be more new arrivals in the coming weeks.
