Nine free agent strikers Middlesbrough could sign this summer - including former Everton and Sheffield Wednesday men

Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock is looking to bolster his attacking options this summer but may be forced to dip into the free agent market to strengthen his squad.

Boro have identified several targets in the last few weeks, including Wigan frontman Kieffer Moore who would cost around £2million and is also being tracked by Championship rivals Cardiff.

Warnock has also said it will be difficult to find better players than current frontmen Ashley Fletcher and Britt Assombalonga, but admitted he may need ‘utility players’ to deal with a congested fixture list.

Boro are also monitoring the free agent market after several players were released or decided not to sign new deals at the end of last season.

We’ve picked out nine strikers who are still without a club and could provide competition for places at the Riverside.
