Most teams are set to return for pre-season training at the start of July as they prepare to play their first friendly matches ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Middlesbrough will play their first pre-season match against Bishop Aukland on Wednesday July 14, when the Euros has reached its conclusion.
Boro will hope they have made some more signings by then, with manager Neil Warnock looking to add around six or seven new players to his squad before the transfer window concludes at the end of August.
While most players playing at the Euros will be out of Boro’s price range, there are some names which could interest the Teessiders.
Here are a couple of players from the tournament who Boro could target in the coming weeks.
1. Kamil Jozwiak - Poland
Warnock is keen to sign some new wingers this summer. Jozwiak, 23, made 41 appearances for Derby last season and has played as a winger and wing-back for Poland.

2. Daniel Bachmann - Austria
The 26-year-old goalkeeper helped Watford win promotion from the Championship last season. The Hornets are reportedly looking to strengthen in the goalkeeping department, so would a loan deal suit Bachmann?

Despite missing some decent chances, the 25-year-old QPR striker gave Scotland a focal point in the group stages and won 41.5 per cent of his aerial duels, the ninth highest in the tournament so far.
