The Middlesbrough team Neil Warnock could name to face Wycombe Wanderers at the Riverside

Middlesbrough are preparing for their final game of the season against Wycombe Wanderers – but what can we expect from Neil Warnock’s side?

The Boro boss will still be without several first-team players, including Dael Fry, Anfernee Dijksteel, Sam Morsy and Marcus Tavernier, due to injury.

It means the Teessiders’ bench will once again be made up of mostly under-23s players, including teenage striker Josh Coburn, who recently scored his first senior goal against Sheffield Wednesday.

Warnock has been deploying a back three in recent weeks due to his lack of options, with Paddy McNair, Grant Hall and Marc Bola starting in defence.

Boro will start the day 10th in the Championship and have little to play for in terms of their divisional status for next season.

Wycombe, meanwhile, sit bottom of the division and, while they haven’t mathematically been relegated, their inferior goal difference has realistically ended their survival hopes.

Here’s how Boro could start.
