West Brom appeared set to appoint former Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder at The Hawthorns, yet a move was reportedly vetoed by owner Guochuan Lai.

Former Huddersfield boss David Wagner then became the favourite to take the job but that move has also collapsed, with the German set to take charge of Swiss side BSC Young Boys.

Scott Parker’s future in the balance

There is also uncertainty at Fulham following their relegation from the Premier League – with Scott Parker’s future reportedly in the balance.

The Athletic have claimed The Cottagers’ head coach is still subject to strong interest from Bournemouth and it’s possible Parker could switch clubs this summer.

Swansea close in on striker deal

A player who has attracted interest this summer is Wigan striker Kyle Joseph.

Celtic and Newcastle were credited with interest in the 19-year-old who made 18 appearances in League One last season, scoring five goals.

It’s now been reported that Swansea are closing in on the signing of Joseph with his contract set to expire this summer.
