Williamson joined The Spitfires from Cambridge United in 2017 and went on to make 102 appearances for the Hampshire outfit, scoring 19 goals.

He now joins a Bromley who currently sit second in the table following a strong opening half to the season.

Upon signing, Williamson told the Bromley club website: “I had a short spell here during pre-season a couple of years ago, and I’ve kept in touch with Neil ever since.

“I’m delighted to be here, and my first day back has been great as I know a few of the boys already.”

Williamson could be available for Saturday’s match at Sutton United, subject to FA approval.

Elsewhere, new Wrexham loan signing Omari Patrick wants to help his new side make a charge up the table after arriving from Bradford City this week.

Last season’s play-off quarter-finalists are currently sat in the relegation zone with just four wins from their opening 20 matches.

"I am delighted to join Wrexham, I have played here before and it is a good set-up,” Patrick told The Leader.

"It looks like a club that shouldn't be where they are and I am just looking forward to playing, getting some games under my belt and trying to express myself.

"I am on loan until January and whatever happens after that, we don't know, but I just need to focus from now until then and do my best for Wrexham."
