THE future of two young English players – both of whom have been linked with Newcastle United – makes the transfer headlines today.

Tom Ince and Will Hughes are both in demand by Premier League clubs after their performances in the Championship.

Newcastle have watched Ince, while Liverpool were keen earlier this year, but Blackpool are worried they could lose the £8m-rated winger for as little as £155,000 if he moves abroad.

Ince, 21, a free agent at the end of the season, can start talking to foreign clubs in January, reports the Daily Mail.

Hughes, meanwhile, was watched by Newcastle last season, but is more likely to move to one of the bigger clubs.

The Daily telegraph reports that Derby County want at least £12m in January for the 18-year-old midfielder, who is wanted by Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
