CHELSEA are about to announce their fourth signing of the January transfer window, after they agreed a £12.5m deal for St Etienne’s Kurt Zouma, who was once linked with Newcastle United.
The central defender looks set to be immediately loaned back to the French outfit for the remainder of the season, before immediately going into the first team when he returns in the summer.
Chelsea have refused to comment, but St Etienne have revealed that they are set to make an announcement on the player.
The deal puts further pressure on captain John Terry, who has not yet been offered a contract and looks set for the exit door.
The Blues are also in talks with Porto over a potential deal for central defender Eliaquim Mangala, but as of yet no feel has been agreed.
