It will see a return to Wearside for Phil Bardsley, who played such a vital role in Sunderland’s trip to Wembley in the same competition last season.
Newcastle, meanwhile, were drawn away at Palace – who they host in the Premier League on Saturday.
Middlesbrough must travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool, while MK Dons – who knocked Manchester United out in such spectacular fashion – host 2013 finalists Bradford, who beat Leeds tonight.
