Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney could be key to Lewandowski summer bid

WAYNE Rooney’s future is key to Manchester United’s swoop for Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski this summer, according to reports.

Lewandowski, 24, will wait to discover whether Man United keep Rooney and Javier Hernandez before deciding whether to move to Old Trafford, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Rooney has been constantly linked with a switch to Paris St-Germain in the summer, who are also believed to be eyeing up a move for Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
