MANCHESTER United and Chelsea are making the transfer headlines today.

The Independent reports that the Glazer brothers are ready to give manager David Moyes money to spend in the January transfer window to save Manchester United’s season.

United’s summer transfer activity was mainly confidend to buying Marouane Fellaini for £27m as they missed out on a host of other targets.

Meanwhile, the Metro reports that Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, 22, looks set for a January exit from Chelsea after being axed from their Champions League squad and made to train with the kids.

Elsewhere, West Bromwich Albion can seal the signing of Manchester United-slaying midfielder Morgan Amalfitano, 28, for just £1.7m.

The Daily Mirror says the Marseille star, brother of Newcastle midfielder Romain, is available for a cut-price fee.
