FABRICIO Coloccini and Steven Taylor are out of Newcastle United’s Capital One Cup tie against Manchester City.

The pair, both sidelined with hamstring problems, have failed to prove their fitness in time for tomorrow night’s fourth-round tie at St James’s Park.

United manager Alan Pardew said today: “Colo and Steven Taylor won’t be available.”

Pardew also admitted the odds are against them returning against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is expected to return to the starting XI against Manchester City after serving a one-match suspension for his dismissal against Liverpool.
