HARIS Vuckic has told of his frustration at a lack of starts for loan club Rotherham United.
The Newcastle United forward is on loan at the New York Stadium, along with club-mate James Tavernier.
But the talented 21-year-old has found starts hard to come by at the League One club.
And Vuckic says Newcastle are “not happy” at his lack of game time, though he can see why Rotherham manager Steve Evans has been reluctant to change a winning team.
“It’s been frustrating, because I haven’t had much starting time,” Vuckic told the Sheffield Star.
“I’ve not really been happy with my playing time, and Newcastle have not been happy either, as I came here to play, but I understand why I haven’t.
“If the team is winning, then it’s hard to get in the side. That is what has happened, we’ve been unbeaten, and it’s difficult to be chosen.”
Slovenia international Vuckic has made seven stars, and scored three goals, for promotion-chasing Rotherham.
