FABRICIO Coloccini has a chance of being fit for Newcastle United’s visit to Carrow Road.
Manager Alan Pardew feared the defender would miss Saturday’s game against Norwich City after he limped out of last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at St James’s Park with a thigh problem.
But the 29-year-old - who has only missed a handful of games in his Newcastle career - is rated as “50-50” by Pardew, who lost Coloccini’s defensive partner Steven Taylor to a season-ending injury in the same match.
“We’re really hoping that Colo is fit,” said Pardew. “He’s got a 50-50 chance, so we’ll have to see.”
