NEWCASTLE United manager Alan Pardew has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association.
The Magpies boss pushed linesman Peter Kirkup during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at St James’s Park.
Pardew shoved the assistant referee after a decision over a throw-in went against his team.
He apologised after the game for the incident, for which he is certain to be handed a touchline ban by the FA.
Pardew has until 4pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.
