PAPISS Demba Cisse is out of Newcastle United’s visit to Carrow Road – but the Alan Pardew doesn’t expect the striker to leave the club.
Cisse has been linked with a move away from St James’s Park this month, but United manager Pardew is confident he will still be a Newcastle player after Friday night’s transfer deadline.
However, the 28-year-old has a back problem and will miss tomorrow night’s game against Norwich City.
“I don’t envisage Papiss leaving in this window,” said Pardew today.
“But he’s hurt his back, and he’ll miss the Norwich game.”
Cisse, linked with Besiktas and West Ham United, has found opportunities hard to come by so far this season.
