ALAN Pardew feels Newcastle United will face a different test when they take on Queens Park Rangers on Saturday – as they will be expected to win.
United have caught some teams by surprise over recent weeks in their five-match winning run.
The likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been seen off, but Pardew feels second-bottom QPR will present a different hurdle.
He said: “There’ll be a bit more expectation on us this weekend than in recent weeks and therefore a different type of hurdle to overcome.
“We’ve done really well and the mood in the camp is buoyant.
“Our young players deserve a lot of credit, as do our senior guys.”
