LOIC Remy’s enjoying the good life at Newcastle United – where he feels there are green shoots of recovery.
The on-loan forward has scored five goals so far this season.
And Remy, mindful of the ups and downs of football, is determined to enjoy every moment on the pitch.
“For me, I am really enjoying life,” said Remy, on a year-long loan from Queens Park Rangers.
“I enjoy it because you know that life won’t be good all of the time. Sometimes you can have bad days, and bad things can happen to you. So I enjoy the moment.
“I work hard to experience good moments like this.”
Remy, looking to add to his goal tally against Liverpool at St James’s Park this afternoon, feels United can challenge for a top-10 finish in the Premier League.
“We know that we can finish nearer the top of this league than the bottom,” he added.
“I am confident about that. We just have to continue to remove our mistakes. If we can keep going like this, there is no reason why we can’t keep this good form up.”
“Every game that goes by we can get sharper. Up top, we have so much quality.
Meanwhile, QPR manager Harry Redknapp has claimed he doesn’t know if there is deal in place to make Remy’s move to Newcastle permanent.
“I don’t know whether there’s a fee agreed or not,” he said.
