ROY Hodgson has named a 25-man England Under-21 squad for next week’s match against Scotland.
The England Manager is taking charge for the game on Tuesday, before a new head coach is appointed for the start of the Euro qualifying campaign next month.
The under-21 fixture takes place 24 hours before his senior team also face the ‘Auld Enemy’ at Wembley.
There are eight players who receive their first Under-21 call-up, along with eight players who featured in the Euro Championship Finals in Israel last summer.
The group will meet up at St. George’s Park on Saturday evening to begin their preparations for Tuesday’s match.
