RUEL Fox’s time at Newcastle United still puts a smile on his face - even to this day.
And the winger will be beaming when he takes to the field for Sunday’s reunion.
Kevin Keegan’s taking charge of a team of his former Newcastle players, including record goalscorer Alan Shearer, David Ginola and Faustino Asprilla, at Kingston Park (1pm kick-off) in a one-off charity game.
They will take on a Liverpool team featuring Ian Rush, Bruce Grobbelar and Steve McManaman.
“It’ll be especially great to see Kevin Keegan. Whenever someone talks about those times, it puts a smile on your face,” Fox said.
“They were great times - it was a dream - and it’ll be great to pay homage to that era.”
Tickets for the The Entertainers ReUnited game at Kingston Park tomorrow are still on sale, priced £10 for adults and £5 for children. For more information go to www.theentertainersreunited.co.uk.
