CHELSEA have stepped up their search for a new striker, according to reports today.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has set his sights on Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, 22, after missing out on Napoli’s Paris St-Germain bound Edinson Cavani, 26, report the Daily Telegraph.
Benteke last night slapped in a transfer request at Villa.
But the Daily Mirror has a different story, saying that returning Blues boss Mourinho is also lining up a £40m move for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, 26.
