Ex-Manchester United and England ace Phil Neville to commentate on Hartlepool Blyth FA Cup clash

EX-ENGLAND and Manchester United utility man Phil Neville will be commentating on Hartlepool United’s televised FA Cup match against Blyth Spartans.

Neville will be in the commentary box at Victoria Park for the second round cup tie on Friday, December 5 (KO 7.55pm).

The match will be screened live on BBC2.

Neville, who also played for Everton in the Premier League, was handed the role as a BBC analyst in the summer after he left the coaching staff at Old Trafford.

He will be co-commentating alongside Steve Wilson, who was in the press box at Roots Hall for Pools’ 1-0 defeat on Saturday.

Match of the Day Live from Victoria Park will be screened on BBC2 from 7.30pm and the programme will be presented by Dan Walker.
