ROLANDO Aarons has rejected a contract £6,000-a-week contract from Newcastle United.
Aarons, one of the club’s brightest prospects, was offered a new six-year deal to reflect his elevation to the first-team squad.
But the contract offer has been turned down by Aarons and his representatives.
And it remains to be seen whether talks will restart between the two parties.
Aarons, sidelined until the New Year with a hamstring injury, has scored two senior goals already this season.
United have pacy Aarons under contract for another 18 months – and also have the option for an extra year.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly tracking the progress of the England Under-20 international, who joined Newcastle from Bristol City two years ago.
