Seaton Carew Football Club hosted the coaching camp after having signed a partnership deal with Italian giants AC Milan.
Now the five young players - Jack Ridley, Joel Greg, Billy Gordon, Will Cain and Atalia Robinson - who stood out the most are being invited to visit AC Milan’s academy in Italy in March next year, where they will get to play in a game and also visit the San Siro stadium.
Seaton’s vice-chairman, Carl Sweeting said: “The kids are absolutely over the moon and it has been a great week for our club.
“We’ve had a brilliant week, we’ve had over 90 kids take part in the coaching camp and they have all thrroughly enjoyed it.
“The main Milan coach has said they have really enjoyed it to and will look forward to coming back next year.
“Choosing five younsgters to go to milan next year shows that we’ve got some great talent at this club”
“We are hoping to make our partnership a long and successful one that will grow and grow each year.”
AC Milan have held camps in the NorthEast, but this was the first one on Teesside at Seaton’s Hornby Park home.
