Hartlepool United let a 2-0 lead slip for the second time in three league matches as 10-man Ebbsfleet United snatched a point at Stonebridge Road.

Pools had been excellent in the first half with a Gavan Holohan brace putting them well in control before Josh Umerah was shown a straight red card for kicking-out at Michael Raynes on the stroke of half-time.

But the visitors couldn’t find a third goal despite some big chances to do so. And when Myles Weston burst away to reduce the deficit, the game suddenly turned on its head as Weston’s free-kick levelled the score with less than 10-minutes remaining.
