A Sorba Thomas penalty and Kabongo Tshimanga goal soon after half-time put The Wood in a commanding position though Pools will have felt Nicke Kabamba should have had a goal allowed only for it to have been adjudged not to have crossed the line.

The hosts got themselves back into it through Nicky Featherstone before Gime Toure came off the bench to convert from the penalty spot to complete the comeback. Pools weren’t quite done there as Luke James missed a great chance to snatch all three points but 2-2 is how it finished.
