Hartlepool United came from behind twice to earn a point against 10-man Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Saturday afternoon.

Pools had won their previous two matches against the Glovers this season but couldn’t make it a hat-trick as the hosts were able to withstand the second half pressure.

Matthew Worthington put the home side ahead before Peter Kioso nodded Hartlepool level minutes later from a Ryan Donaldson cross. A failure to deal with a long throw into the box saw Yeovil go back in front as Charlie Lee made it 2-1 just before half-time.

Yeovil top scorer Rhys Murphy was shown a straight red card shortly after the restart as Pools started to apply the pressure in search of an equaliser.
