FORMER Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan is set to take on Sunderland’s Under-21s tonight.
Nolan is part of the West Ham United side that will tackle the Black Cats at Upton Park in the Under-21 Premier League from 7pm.
The midfielder – who famously scored a hat-trick for Newcastle against Sunderland in 2010 – made his first senior appearance of the season on Saturday when he came off the bench during the Hammers’ 2-1 loss at Manchester United.
He thought he had levelled the scores at the death, only to be denied by an offside flag.
Fellow first-team players Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te will also line up against Sunderland in tonight’s game.
