Former Sunderland manager Gus Poyet is due to pen a contract with AEK Athens tomorrow, the Greek club have confirmed.
Poyet flew to Greece earlier this week for talks with AEK after they made an approach over the weekend.
Those discussions have been productive and AEK today confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Poyet.
The Uruguayan will formally sign a deal until the end of the season tomorrow, when he will be unveiled by AEK.
It ends Poyet's hiatus from the dug-out after the Uruguayan has been out of work since being sacked by Sunderland in March after an 18-month tenure at the Stadium of Light.
