Sam Allardyce persisted with a 3-5-2 system, as he made just one enforced change to the starting XI for today's visit of Stoke.
DeAndre Yedlin took the place of the suspended Billy Jones, in the only change from the side which won at Crystal Palace on Monday night.
Fit-again Fabio Borini came onto the bench in place of Danny Graham, while Adam Matthews occupied the other place in the squad.
Stoke were unchanged from the side which triumphed at Southampton last weekend.
