YEOVIL Town have ruled out a loan move for Newcastle United’s Gael Bigirimana.
Bigirimana is back on Tyneside after training with the League One club.
Glovers manager Gary Johnson already has six loanees – and he can only name five in a matchday squad.
Johnson could instead make a move for ex-Coventry City midfielder Bigirimana, 21, in the New Year.
He told the Western Gazette: “He’s gone back. He only came down for a couple of days, and did OK. It was just an initial contact, because we’ve got six loans and we cannot take on seven loans.
“He was a good lad, and we will keep an eye on the situation.”
Bigirimana – whose future seemingly lies away from United – could yet leave Newcastle before the Football League’s emergency loan window closes on November 27.
He hasn’t played for the club since August last year.
