James was a key player under Dave Challinor prior to his injury yet his only goal to earn Pools a point this season came in the 2-2 draw at Notts County under Antony Sweeney.

2. Nicky Featherstone - 1 point
Another important player under Challinor with his stunning strike against Boreham Wood launching a Pools comeback that saw them earn a 2-2 draw at Victoria Park back in November.

3. Mark Shelton - 2 points
Shelton's only Hartlepool goal to date proved to be the winner in a 2-1 victory over Eastleigh at Victoria Park.

4. Niko Muir - 2 points
The striker is back at Pools following a loan spell at Hemel Hempstead. His winner at Maidenhead back in August helped Hartlepool pick up their first three points of the season.
