AMANDA Coulson’s Olympic dream is over.
Great Britain today announced their team for the World Championship in China next month and there was no place for Coulson.
The 29-year-old had hoped to use next week’s tournament in Crete to stake a late bid for selection.
Coulson, who has been to the last two world championships, has missed out to friend and rival Natasha Jonas.
The 27-year-old from Liverpool will be joined in China by Hartlepool’s Savannah Marshall, who won a silver medal at the worlds in 2010 along with the third member of the side, Nicola Adams, from Leeds.
The worlds are the only qualifying event for the London Olympics.
