WEST Hartlepool’s players must put any title nerves to one side and believe in themselves if they are to complete their league championship triumph.
That was the message from head coach Tim Sawyer as West begann the build-up to their last difficult away hurdle – a trip to Wheatley Hills this Saturday.
Leaders West are just seven points away from clinching the North One East title and have three games left to achieve it.
West made it 15 wins in a row last weekend when they hammered Carlisle 39-15, despite suffering the loss of skipper Jonny Boatman with a broken tibia
“We did look a little nervy,” Sawyer told SportMail.
