More former Middlesbrough players have signed up for Mikkel Beck's Covid-19 charity match which is expected to take place at the Riverside Stadium next year.

Former Boro boss Bryan Robson has agreed to manage a team made up of players from his 1995-97 Premier League squad, which is set to face a team led by Steve McClaren, featuring members of the club’s 2004 Carling Cup winning side and 2006 UEFA Cup finalists.

Many Boro fans will be looking forward to seeing some of their favourite players in action – especially following football’s suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So far, a total of 33 players and managers have signed up for the game, with many big names set to be involved.
