Form a key man at Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United to a promotion winner at Norwich City: What has happened to Tony Pulis' 12 Middlesbrough signings

It’s two years to the day since Tony Pulis left Middlesbrough - and there have been several changes since the Welshman’s departure.

Pulis spent 18 months on Teesside, missing out on promotion via the play-offs in his first half season, before finishing seventh in his only full campaign.

During his time at Boro, the club made 12 signings, both permanent and loan deals, with some faring much better than others.

Only two of those players, George Saville and Paddy McNair, are still at Boro, while some have gone on to impress at other clubs following difficult spells at the Riverside.

Pulis pointed out on a regular basis that he had to balance the books and cut the wage bill, while attempting to win promotion from the second tier.

Two years after Pulis’ left Boro, we take a closer look at the players who were signed under the Welshman and what has happened to them since.
