AN audience of 5,000 beckons for Hartlepool street dance crew Ruff Diamond.
The six-strong crew, who just missed out on winning the Sky 1 contest Got To Dance, were due to perform today in Bournemouth at the Wave 105 FM concert.
Mark Watson, who acts as a liaison person between the crew and their manager, said: “They will be opening the concert then performing again half way through the evening.
“They are on stage with Paloma Faith, Travis, Mark Owen and Union J. The concert is a sellout to more than 5,000 people.”
The gig is held at the Bournemouth International Centre and Mark added: “The lads are really looking forward to performing to such a large crowd and with such big music stars, and is a huge platform for them.”
The Hartlepool Mail revealed Ruff Diamond had signed up with Beautiful Movements, the company led by former Pussycat Doll and Sky One’s Got to Dance judge, Kimberly Wyatt.
The crew of Zac Healey, 22, Aaron Staunch and Jason Lund, both 19, Ryan Wilson, Ryan Llewellyn and Lewis Cope, all 18, have a number of other major appointments looming.
They will be the opening act on the bill for a Sky concert in Edinburgh – in front of 10,000 people.
They will also be joining the likes of JLS and The Wanted on the line-up for the North East Live event at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
