Katie, originally from Stockton, is in her second year studying Performing Arts at Italia Conti Theatre Arts in London.

Leanne said: “Katie started dancing just four years ago and has blossomed into a very mesmerizing performer.

“I am sure in the future she will continue to dance professionally and be very successful. This is also Katie’s third year dancing at the Miss Dance of Great Britain finals.

“First time around she got down to the final 12 and won the John Dilworth Trophy for ‘Best Potential’. I am so very proud of Katie and what she has acheived in such a short space of time.

Katie qualified for this years finals just last week at the Hartlepool Stage Dance Festival.”
