A HIPHOP crew will swap the dance floor for the football pitch when they line-up in a celebrity tournament.
Ruff Diamond from Hartlepool have been invited to the Soccer Six event at the London Soccerdome tomorrow.
They will line-up alongside stars such as Loveable Rogues, Kingsland Road, Shane O’Meara (best known for playing Connor Mulgrew in Waterloo Road), X Factor contestants Next Of Kin, James and Ricci from Geordie Shore, and Magaluf Weekender trio Jordan, Tobi and Imogen.
Mark Watson, who acts as a liaison person between the Ruff Diamond crew and their manager, said: “They could do okay. Zac was with the Hartlepool youth team and Ryan Wilson was quite a good footballer.”
Also on the Soccer Six bill are X Factor contestants, yodeller Barclay Beales and singer Frankie Cocozza.
It promises to be a busy weekend for Ruff Diamond.
They were due to perform today at a show organised by Gymtasia Evolution who, like Ruff Diamond, were finalists on the Sky 1 Got To Dance show.
In a stunning year of achievement, Ruff Diamond were crowned UK adult hip hop champions and won the Inspire category at the Hartlepool Mail Sports Awards.
