A top dancer has visited Hartlepool to do a workshop with a dance school’s talented students.
Tom Shilcock, who trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts, has enjoyed a career which was kick started after appearing on BBC1’s So You Think You Can Dance.
After impressing in that competition, he went on to dance for international artists. They included Megan Trainor, Take That, Cheryl Cole, and Rita Ora.
He has made television appearances in shows such as Stars In Their Eyes as a resident dancer, X Factor, and So You Think You Can Dance.
He has also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, The Royal Variety Show, Brit Awards, Sunday Night At The Palladium, ITV Text Santa, Dancing On Ice and Keep It In the Family.
He was welcomed to Hartlepool by Kellyanne Stevens.
Kellyanne first set up Dance World by Kellyanne Stevens in 2013 and it has gone on to great success ever since.
Now the studio has warmly welcomed Tom.
Kellyanne said Tom was “quite well known in the dance world he is a great guest to have at your school.”
He came to Hartlepool to do a workshop in street dance.
