A dance school teacher is facing a busy summer thanks to a series of classes and her continuing efforts to put the finishing touches to a fantastic charity event.
Carol Hammond, who runs the Carol Hammond School of Dance in Dalton Street in Hartlepool, is planning to offer fitness classes throughout August.
And there is a new addition to her sessions which means dance fitness classes can be offered to even more people.
She added: “My BurleX Fitness class is also now on a Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm as well as a Thursday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm in my studio.”
New BurleX classes have also started on the Headland in the Duke of Cleveland (formerly Conservative Club) in Church Walk.
Burlex is a class which works on core strength and flexibility by incorporating Burlesque styled dance.
Meanwhile, Carol is continuing with her plans for a Hartlepool charity challenge.
The event is similar to the popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing but aimed at the younger generation.
The school challenge will be held on Friday, September 25, and all money will go to Hartlepool & District Hospice.
