Music legend Barry Manilow has announced he’s hitting the the road One Last Time! - including a date in the North East.
The tour was launched in North America earlier this year, and is now heading to the UK.
It will reach the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on Sunday, June 12, next year.
Manilow, who will bring a band of 13 musicians and singers, said: “We had a great time putting the show together.
“We hope to take everyone on an emotional roller coaster. I can’t wait to see everyone dancing in the aisles.”
After performing more than 400 concerts at the Las Vegas Hilton and Paris Las Vegas between 2005 and 2011, Manilow has limited his concert appearances.
The One Last Time! Tour is a major undertaking and Manilow said: “It’s my way of thanking everyone for their years of support - one last time!”
Manilow’s career sky-rocketed to superstardom when his mega-hit song, Mandy, topped the charts in 1975.
In the spirit of that year, tickets will be priced to tie into that year and will start at £19.75.
Manilow insisted the average ticket price remains low and that a greater range of ticket prices be available.
With worldwide record sales exceeding 80 million, Manilow is ranked as the top adult contemporary chart artist of all time, with more than 50 Top 40 hits.
They include Could It Be Magic, I Write The Songs, Copacabana and Bermuda Triangle.
Tickets, priced from £19.75, will go on sale at 9am on Monday, October 5.
They are available online HERE, from the booking hotline number 0844 493 6666 or from 10.00am in person from the Arena box office.
