Canadian rocker Bryan Adams today announced that he’s bringing his ‘Get Up’ tour to the UK, including a North-East date.

The multi-platinum-selling artist will be returning to the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on Friday, May 13, next year.

It will be the eighth time the Summer of 69 singer has played at the venue - the last was in November last year.

The tour is to promote his latest album, Get Up, which is released in the UK on October 23.

It’s his 13th studio set, and features nine new songs and four acoustic versions.

Produced by famed ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, it was co-written with his long-time collaborator Jim Vallance.

Tickets for the Newcastle show, priced £35 and £42.50, plus the usual booking fees, will go on sale at 9am on Friday.

They are available online HERE, from the booking hotline number 0844 493 6666, or in person from the Arena box office.
