A HARTLEPOOL musician will perform to festival-goers this weekend.
Jeff Butterfield, of Seaton Carew, will form part of the line up at the Willowman Festival, near Thirsk, in North Yorkshire.
On Sunday, he will perform his unique brand of blues, country and folk music in an acoustic tent.
Jeff, 61, said: “I am looking forward to it.
“It is the first year I have been able to play there as I have been elsewhere in other years.”
The festival features a real mix of established and up-and-coming bands and performers.
The line up includes New Model Army, The Wonder Stuff, Syd Arthur, Flutatious and Weird Shapes performing over three days at Knayton.
Jeff appeared in the Mail last year when he busked his way from Hartlepool to Scotland for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of his mum.
He did it to raise money for a local day centre which helps Alzheimer’s sufferers after his mum Muriel’s four-year battle with the disease.
